These chairs are imported antiques from Ethiopia. All are hand-carved from one solid block of tree trunk unless otherwise noted. They are created by the Jimma people in the forest area of Western Ethiopia. They feature a tripod – 3 legged design unique to the Jimma area. This area is also know for being the birthplace of coffee.

This stool measures 15 tall inches and 19 inches wide. It weighs 12 pounds.
