These stools are imported antiques from Ethiopia. All are hand-carved from one solid block of tree trunk unless otherwise noted. They are created by the Jimma people in the forest area of Western Ethiopia. They feature a tripod – 3 legged design unique to the Jimma area. This area is also know for being the birthplace of coffee.
